How do you gain access to the satnav DVD player

This is probably a silly question once you know the answer. Embarassed

The sat nav DVD player is under the front passenger seat.

I have raised the seat up to it's max level & moved it as far forward as possible. I can see the DVD on the floor behind a large black plastic panel.

How the hell do you remove this panel. I have tried pulling it, but it won't budge Shocked If I pull any harder I'm sure to break something.

What am I missing here Confused

I only want to check that I have V13 of the software.

Geoff

Not gone one myself (only got an S), but seem to remember reading that it was accessed from behind the seat?

No doubt someone will put/prove me right!

Either pull hard and the panel will come off, or move the seat fully up and forward and there should be room to get your hand in there to eject the disk

As an alternative if your SatNav shows Land Rover POIs (ie. dealers) then you've got version 13 (or higher)

You have to put the seat full forward or fully backward to access the DVD player. I can't remember which way, as it has been a long time since I've done this. The sat nav manual shows how.
