Gatwick North Short Stay - Height restriction
I'm off to collect my son from his honeymoon soon, he arrives into Gatwick North. Looking at the website, seems there are a couple of short stay car park options, one with 1.8m height restriction the other with 2.1. Anyone been in the 1.8m car park (number 5 apparently) with their D4? The manual says 1887mm max height - so it will be tight in standard height, so maybe just lock in access height.
Anyone able to share their experiences?
I will try and just aim from the other car park, but you know what its like around a busy airport, signs and lanes all over the place. Just want to be prepared MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Mine hit the overhead warning bar coming into car park 5, even with suspension lowered..
Think it was only the dab/gps fin at the back, and no damage, but worth taking it slow...

Used Gatwick earlier this yr avoided the 1.8 as caught Dab fin on another barrier marked 1.85m at another location. Funny things is I have been under barriers marked 1.85m before but this time 2 cracks put in the glass roof
Was plenty of parking in 2.1 m so wouldn't risk it myself D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Was there a couple of weeks ago - horrible car park as it is just so dam tight to get round it.

If I chop my D4 in the next few weeks I’ll be driving around in my old 57 plate GD model. OK 4 star hotel to hostelling but kind of looking forward to it.
It’s even good in the white stuff, she backed out of this once I cleared the windows.
