Gauging Interest 2005 (05) SE price
Anyone have an idea on what I'd get for my SE?
2005 SE
Zambezi silver
Manual
47k miles
SE spec (Bi-xenons, ebony leather, f & r heated seats (front elec too), Air suspension, sat nav, c/control, rear parking sensors, heated front screen and power fold mirrors. rain sensor wipers etc etc)
LR Optional extras:
Tow Pack (all electrics and removable swan neck ball)
LR Side steps
Privacy glass
Modifications/Enhancements added by me:
2008 smooth nappa leather steering wheel
2009 sat nav DVD
Bell Auto's Re-map (inc interface with 3 maps (high power, medium power & original non LR map that car came with)
Adrian (Wiggs) has unlocked the off road sat nav and 4x4 info as per HSE spec
Front Ltd Edition body kit (Genuine LR)
20" V Spoke Alloys (all un-kerbed)
295 Grabber UHP tyres with plenty of tread left
I've removed the rear body kit so it's currently standard at the back.
It has a W/D "franchised dealer labour rate approved" warranty, transferable with the car and fully paid up till June 2011
The paintwork is flawless apart from one dink in the passenger door... (something I might get dent man to remove) and the stainless steel front strip is munched at one end (again, I'm going to get that straightened)
Any guide would be greatly received, I'm looking at either to part ex it against a D4 or a *cough* 2010 RRS *cough*, or sell it privately if the price is right, I'm just feeling the part ex figure in parkers (£14k) is hugely under valued with the low mileage and extras it currently has on it?
PS The front parking sensors are real but not plugged in to anything...so are dummies in extent...

I tried to direct the exhaust gasses through the fake exits in the kit.
This resulted in the trim getting so hot it melted the lugs that hold the stainless steel trim to the valance...
The resulting heat also damaged the rear parking sensors somehow, so I'm gettiing LR to look at them, sometimes they work..and sometimes they do not. I thing Ron had a similar result to his experiment also.
I still have the kit, it just needs some TLC to re-fix the s/steel trim.57 RRS TDV8

I'm just updating this (Will Hay I've replied to your pm)
It looks like I'll be keeping the D3 a wee while longer, my company car "upgrade" to a D4 has hit a snag, my current company car is in negative equity to the tune of £2k. and the senior partner is not happy about having to buy it out of it's finance for the sake of waiting 6 months more, so D4 will have to wait...
Still loving my D3 though..so not really a disaster!
Cheers for all the remarks/help/offers 57 RRS TDV8
