I have an 05 LR3 (base model with springs and manual gear box), it’s got 197,000 miles on the clock. I’ve replaced lots of other major stuff like rear transfer box, drive shaft and the engine I solid.
It seems the clutch is gone and the gearbox is not doing well. I like the car but in the position where I need to decide whether to keep and fix or sell-on.
I am now looking for advice on sourcing a reconditioned gearbox and any advice on anybody who can recommend a company to get it done. I’m in Newbury area, but happy to get recommendations any anyone who can do the work.

I have no experience with them, being in another country, but Bristol Transmissions seems to pop up as a name quite often when transmission repairs are being discussed here.
