Gearbox worry

Mornin all, 1st & 2nd gear very notchy especially when cold on 07 D3 manual just coming for 105k big un, clutch pedal is very high & have had a couple of clutch slips when overtaking so sounds as though that is on the way out but worried about gearbox too or would this be symptom of clutch, 2 gear is worst.

The clutch on my D3 was doing the same on the motorway when overtaking.

Needed new clutch and flywheel. When they were refitted the gearbox this then played up and I needed a new one.

I would get a warranty ASAP that covers the gearbox if you haven't already. Thumbs Up

PS: I meant to say mine went at 96k miles

I'd try a gearbox oil change to see if that helps.
At 96k it would certainly benefit from one.

Many of us Auto's experienced judders at that sort of mileage, which were cured with an oil change.

LR oil change times are far too long IMO.

Just picked up the wrong mileage figure when I scrolled on the topic reply page. Rolling Eyes

Yep, I knew it was manual, just referring to auto problems that were sorted with an oil change. Thumbs Up
