Gearbox/drivetrain juddering when coming to a slow stop

Hello All. This is my first post, with just 7 days of LR experience under my belt, so treat me gently! I have a 2012 D4 on 80k with the 8 speed/rotary dial autobox, and every time I come to a low speed stop there is a mild juddering/grating-like sensation, almost like something is happening within the drivetrain or gearbox. There is a similar sensation when pulling away again, but otherwise the gear changes are smooth across the range. I have experience of other using other auto boxes, but not with 4WD, so am wondering if this is "normal". There are no obvious errors codes showing on the dash or when using an i930 code reader either. Any thoughts?

I know this is an old post renewed, but if it were me, the least painful option would be to have a megaflsuh done as a first step everytime.

Not cheap I grant you, but cheaper than replacing items with no clue where to start.

I had one done on an 8-speed D4 at 90k and the difference was night and day in being a better all-round performance.

Just my opinion of course. Merry Christmas Thumbs Up
