I have General Grabber AT tyres in 275/45/20 and needing to replace 2 of them
Only problem is I cant seem to find the AT's online? Have they been replaced by the AT3?
Are they the same tyre and would it be OK to fit 2 AT3 along with my existing AT's?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Ade

Would you be interested in some part worn ones?
I've got a set of 5 currently on wheels that I've been planning on getting refurbished and fitting road tyres to. From memory, I think one tyre is almost new, one has about 6mm tread left and the rest have about 4mm left (I'd need to check that though). If you're interested, I could be persuaded to take them off and get on with the refurb sooner rather than later. MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home

Anyone able to offer any advise?
Only bought 2x AT's in November but now looks like I have to replace with all 4 with AT3's?

I'm no expert, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I gather the AT3 replaced the AT2 which in turn replaced the AT. The DOT code on your tyres will give an indication on the manufacturer date.

I think the AT is a newer tyre than the AT2?
I've been running the AT ro a while now, bought 2x only last November, but now struggling to find another 2 for sale
Hence my question being, am I going to need to replace all 4 to the AT3?

At's carried on in production after the At2 was withdrawn, I see no reason for a pair to be replace on one axle while running the same make on the other axle as long as they are the same size. I often end up replacing one pair before another through wear rate difference I have never experienced any problems.

Yeah, thats me aswell. Tend to find a replace in pairs.
So do people think I would be OK moving my 9month old AT's to the front and fitting new AT3 to the rear? All being General Grabber, working towards being all AT3's in the future when the next pair need replacing.

Sorry, slightly off topic but will be interesting to hear any reviews of AT3 as I am looking at them in that size.
Being the family truck, just concerned that they sacrifice the on road or wet holding, for the sake of me going off road every now and then. Last of the D4 HSE...

Running 2 Freelander 2's with a mix of AT and AT3 with no problems (pairs on axels).
Have 4 AT3's on my D3 for a couple of weeks and very happy with them on road. I was out earlier in the week in torrential rain and the grip was excellent - I feel better than the AT's that I did often aquaplane when running them. I was in a rush and grip was very good. Not played much off road yet. They look reassuringly chunky.

Good to hear that they are OK, unfortunate timing for me. I was running out of time and had to make a decision and ordered 4x AT3 tyres ay 6pm last night
So there will be 2x part worn 9 month old AT''s in the for sale section soon
