Replacing a D4 with a seized TDV6 3.0l MY 2011. Found an SDV6 engine with above number which should be from a 28000 miles D4 MY 2015.
Is it a straight fit?
The other question is if the torque converter is the same for a 6 speed gearbox and the 8 speed gearbox.
Is this engine on eBay in the uk

Couple of people I know looked at this it had the gearbox with it but no checkable history like car service book nothing but did he give you the number to where he purchased from
Was the engine in droitwich ?

Bought it without 8 speed gear box as it does not fit in my D4 with 6 speed gearbox. Got an ok reduction

I think I must be missing something as have followed this story in reference to not being able to get engines or parts for them for years but I've just picked up the landy magazine from my local independent and there is at least 1 company selling re-con and re-man engines and parts for both 2.7 TDV6 and 3.0 TDV6. Also cranks and bearings etc.

Not sure of the part number but yes, it is what LR call a 'stripped engine' - all ancilliaries get wswapped over from the original. Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
