Interested to "hear" what you think......the drone and hum from my previous GGs (on 19's) drove me mad to the point that I sold them....no issue at all on the previous 18's..."Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Only fitted today but first impressions are good,
I don't find them noisy, gripped the road really well even over wet leaves on some of the twisties, and felt good at motorway speeds.
Found braking improved as well
Never looked at the mpg, but I never do
If anything on the minus side, they seem to cause a hell of a splash in big puddles
Only my opinion though
D3 57 xs Stornaway grey
D2 02 commercial silver gone but a great servant and won't be forgotten

A great day with Lothian and Strathclyde 4x4 Response teams yesterday up at Cairnnpapple practicing offroad skills gave a good opportunity to try out the new GG AT3s.
On wet grass the AT3 provided good grip for direct ascents, plenty of grip for the HDC do its stuff on the descents and provided good lateral stability on cross-slopes.
A comparison test (kind of) on a rutted climb with mud over rock, taken deliberately too slow so that traction would be lost before reaching the top, the D4 on AT3s got just about the same distance up as a LR90 on AT2s and further than a 110 on Pirelli ATRs.
Overall offroad I'm very happy with the GG AT3s, the car felt competent in all situations. But I can't say that it was categorically better than the last D4 on GG ATs.
On road, not done many miles yet, but I can hear no additional road noise over the Scorpion zeros just taken off, on A-roads or at motorway speeds. But then I never noticed noise with the old ATs either.
There has been torrential rain and it feels very sure footed on the blacktop so far even when deliberately pushing it around wet roundabouts as a test. In deep puddles on the roadside it tugs sideways less than the last car did on ATs, but that could be the car as much as the tyre.
It may be that the key difference to GG ATs is whether the cold weather grip is improved with its 3PMSF rating.
Oh and the black wheels no longer are ...

Shall be watching how you get on with them, and will annoy you at every Scam for updates.
They are on the list for possible replacement of the Duratracs when i need to change next year before Morocco.
