No i haven't Pete.....as i mentioned earlier, i don't have any symptoms of them failing at the moment - so no real cause for concern, apart from them getting stuck and possibly snapping when they do begin to fail.

It would give me peace of mind to get in there, clean them up and get a smear of suitable grease on them at the moment.

Update, I let them soak in oil for 8 hours then put the removal tool on them, after 1 hour they had not moved, I did use a ratchet and very carefully tried to move them, all 6 moved a little and then stuck. So back on with the air tool for a while nada.

I've re lubed them, I'll try again lunch time today, if they are still stuck then I'll get the guys in the van over to get them out. I know these plugs have not been replaced since new so I guess it likely to cost.

And if only LR made that oil separator a little smaller it would be very easy to get to the plugs and they would get changed more frequently.

After hours of rattling then, soaking them and then trying hard to get them out, nothing. Now the drill.

Quick update all the plugs are now out and replaced. Nice man in a van came down and removed them on my drive way, and it cost a lot, but at least its done now.
