Glow plug light

My Cousin has a D3. The glow plug light never comes on. It does start, but lumpy for a few seconds. Is there a simple fix or is it complicated, bet it’s the latter. 1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch
1960 SWB Series 2 88 inch

The problem could be any number of things such as a fuse link, or wiring short/break amongst others. The cause should be logged if he has the diagnostic codes read. Thumbs Up yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
