Going, going oooo

After 5½ years of happy ownership of Land Rover, it has become time to thank a great forum and awesome D3!

Since a teenager I have had two car related dreams: own a Land Rover and quattro. First part I can now tick a box Very Happy latter part will happen in a month. My call was not to have better vehicle, just wanted to experience ownership of quattro too.

Maybe, some sunny day I will return to a seat of Land Rover. 8)

Happy motoring to everyone!

Antti

Laughing

Yeah

Same here !
I went from an RS4 to a D3 ! Well kinda, I made the mistake of purchasing a new Defender in the interim but I soon came to my senses the first time it snowed in 10 Years the defender got water in the fuel the windy wipers stopped working my swivel housings spilt their inners the transfer box leaked and undersealed the whole underneath including rear disks !
I could go on ?

Or I could tell you some proper horror stories about quattro ownership ! Big Cry

I'd much rather have the Disco, Thumbs Up
Only dead fish go with the Flow !

Oooo is this the Quattro + D3 owners' club?

Trouble is my Quattro has one cylinder and two doors more than the one I'd really like Wink

Funnily enough, best mates stated me to be a Land Rover man. They just can't see me driving Audi.

Maybe you all are right, I'll be back... Wink

Meanwhile, I will explore potential of "black phantom" A6.
