well - heading that far north (and out of kernow), you'll need your passport, various antiviral injections, your picnic rug and flask, tea bags, heinz beans (and any other local foodstuffs), oh, and a change of underwear.
And keep the windows closed as you come past Brum.

NORTH
That ain't north, Im off to Scotland in a few weeks and going all the way up to John O Groats and then across the water to Orkney, now that's north I have something to say! It's better to burn out... than to fade away!

Don't forget to pull into Woolley Edge services to collect your complimentary Flat Cap and Whippet I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Hi AD15. krkstone. hardknott or wrynose passes, anywhere round Elterwater/Langdales is scenic, 1 in 3 gradients if you like that sort of thing. If stealer req'd recommend Hadwins at Torver or same company Kentdale in Kendal. Very accomodating and NOT rippoff merchants. Caves and locale around Ingleton. If into bikes-- Devils Bridge at Kirby Lonsdale(mainly weekend).

Don't worry, life starts to slow down north of Preston, and the traffic thins. If you wanta short trip out from Great Strickland head for Haweswater (via Askham and Bampton) or head to Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. And if the wedding's in Kendal you can always take the detour route back to Penrith via Windermere /Troutbeck / Kirkstone Pass and then drive down Ullswater. Club RLD spare wheel protection

Sorry I missed the post otherwise you would have been warned about the waiting time for the Banksy exhibition.
Go steady on the way back, the M5 through our bit is a madhouse.
And leave the toll money in the box at J20
