good campsite im mid france

First of all sorry for 3 posts earlier, not sure why that happened, only pressed submit the once.. honest, anyway, the wife and I along with our pooch are heading to France for 3 weeks in the disco, the wife is planning the return leg, from south to the west coast and up but I have to get us there so stressing about where to go en route. We are staying near Rouen for our first night and then heading directly south past Orleans, Chateauroux, Limoges and then Toulouse. can anyone recommend some great sites for tent on the way (near to the a20). Hi Lee, Not sure about camping, but if you don't mind a gite, you could look at the link below, its not too far from the A20 and they are very well kept.

Wales 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Java BlackDiscovery 3

Last year on the way down to Spain, stayed one night at La Garenne in Eguzon, about 10km S of Chateauxroux.

That's a nice quiet campsite, close to the village, hypermarche etc, run by a friendly Dutch couple.

Was only there one night and it was howling down with rain, so didn't explore too much, but showers etc. were great.

Where are you staying near Rouen? We're off to the Dordogne in 27 days time and are looking for somewhere to stop the night near Rouen on the return journey i July. Now an ex-D3 owner after 7 happy years. Miss the car but not the big bills Smile
