A good reason to go to 19" instead of 17" please?

Can someone here clarify why one preffers a 19" above a 17" wheel?
I do speak for fitting off-road tires.

If I could I even had put 16"ers instead of 17"

I can't see a positive thing about a 19" low profile off-road tire.

You can't deflate it when driving on rocks or sand
You don't have any side wall that can help getting more grip
When hitting a rock you hit very quicky the wheel it self, with total deflation as a result.

So please tell me why one would pick a 19" apart from "It's what they used for the G4"

No seriously...... Are you suggesting that the 19" wheel is inappropriate or that an MTR is low profile?

I've not had 17's so I can't make the comparison but there are others here who previously have used 17's with cooper St \ Stt and 19's with MTR ...perhaps they can enlighten you Rolling Eyes

The MTR on the 19" for a D3 is in my opinion way to low profile.
And such not a good off-road solution.
Especially when driving on rocks or in sand
