Got to say.. roads busy, rained all day & too busy..Scot
Hi,
finally got some photos added of our trip to the west of Scotland, but after my last post I had best say
roads were very busy
the place was full of people and too busy for us
and it rained all the time
never mind we will have to go again and hope things get better
that's if we are allowed back in Transit! 2019

Take the road to Arasaig from fort William. Must be one of the best drives in the world and the destination is stunning. Amazing beaches

We had the same problem when we went to Durness for the Gathering Games. Beach was packed, the roads were gridlocked and the rain was horrendous.Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

Missed the games by a week. We had to return to Notts because of the bloody intransigence of the company that supplies some of my medication! So........after a few days at home we hitched up and headed North again to finish our holiday. Never realised that John Lennon spent holidays there as kid and, according to the plaque in the garden dedicated to him next to the village hall, the song 'In My Life' was about his happy times in Durness. Big lump in the throat time when I read that.
Some of the locals took me a wee bit too seriously when I complained about the lack of a decent Tescos and McDonalds earning me a dig in the back from the missus. A beautiful location. Got photos somewhere.

yes Bunree club site and that's Blanche on the dog walk which goes under water at high tide
that's why she looks sad, she knew the tide was coming in and she was going to get wet Transit! 2019
