Got stuck tonight.
I got well and truly stuck in the D3 tonight, I pulled on to the side of a lane and it turned out to be boggy and the LR dug itself in and was well stuck. I had to get a friend with his van to pull me out after 3 attempts digging the mud and sticking braches under the wheels. I have now got 2 knackered alloys where they are scratched from spinning.

Offcourse there is a story.
This was an outdoor event and a part off the beach was open for 4x4's to make it interesting, a part off water in front off the beach was digged deeper to some nice wading area. The sand that came out was put aside to make a dyke to drive over. It was n't driveable earlier but late afternoon it was getting firm. We went over with a Suzuki a Camel Disco the white disco and then my Camel disco (the front one in the first picture). So I drove over last and I felt my disco sinking so I floored it and just made it over it. On the end the White disco turned around to have another go. He didn't make it. And got stuck. I tried to pull him out with a rope and that didn't work. Then I tried to winch hime out but I went forward and he didn't move. So my mate with the other Camel parked next to me and we connected his winch to the White Disco's towbar too.
We dug ourselves in again and tried to winch him out but the only moveemed we got was from his towbar. Look at the first picture you can see the towbar is a bit bend to the rear.
The pictures were made the next morning when the sand firmed up again and the crane driver was back.
The Sand got that firm that even when he was pulled out the wheels didn't want to turn so he was pulled to deeper water and let it soak for a while and then he could drive away.
I think this qualifies as really stuck.Roel

I am not sure anymore but I think he was operating the winch remote at that moment and I think he was not that close that he could touch the Disco.Roel
