would you mind seriously participate to the D3 VS D4 poll : Give us your Top 10 pros and 10 cons the turn the Discvorey is taking in the shape of the D4

Here are mine :
My Pro D4 Top 10 :
1 - Ride (suspension + dynamic)
2 - impoved TR
3 - 3.0L is an improvement indeed !
4 - seat are much better (for me at least)
5 - more quiet inside
6 - goes through anything, really
7 - looks good (but not as good as the D3 when it came out)
8 - Cameras a plus, but not mandatory
9 - better finish inside, though i was not looking for that this much
10 - loads of aftermarket already on the market including from LR and Mantec
My Con D4 Top 10 :
1 - 19" minimum (until someone proves one can fit 18") so limited to MTR as an off road tyre and a skinny sidewall
2 - premiumness added to a utilitatian workhorse
3 - price going up
4 - Tax class going from 14 to 17 Cv in France, (quite a jump!) (is it the same in UK for Tax or Insurance ?)
5 - too classy and precious inside (can't just throuw stuff in it, you have to be careful on that painted beinge plastic trim in the back (reason why i went back to D3 after L322 / FFRR)
6 - tyre option way too limited even in road bias (means more expensive and harder to find in the middle of nowhere)
7 - round, politicaly correct design (lost it's rugged front end)
8 - really 7 seater Range rover Sport : I need a D3 not a RRS...
9 -
10 - did I mention 19" are the minimim if you want the 3.0L ?...l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l

1 - Interior
2 - Grill
3 - Lights
4 - Spec of Wheels
5 - Fuel Economy
6 - Grunt / Lag
7 - No black external parts
8 - Drive Ability
Not necessarily in any order of preference/importance
My Pro D4 Top 10 :

4 - some options seem to be solutions that were never needed - eg all those cameras...!

8 - Would you really want to take a D4 (with that interior and external paint etc) to the same places as a D3...?
9 - quality control - for a new model that is not THAT "new" overall, it seems to be having some noticable teething issues (or am I wrong here...?)
10 - Grill is 'kin horribleThe next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

4 - No SE spec
5 - No passenger dash mounted cup holder (dealbreaker this one! )
6 - Aux Battery Space wasted
7 - D4 A Bar is awful!!!
8 - Sufficiently different front end bits to make a D3 to D4-look-a-like non-trivial

3 - LED rear lights (reduced bulb costs)
4 - Camera's (more toys to play with)

3 - Soft image (painted everything)
4 - Now looks like a poor man's FFRR
5 - The flared centre consol now makes the front footwells appear narrow.

8 - Not different enough!
