Perhaps they were running short on hot air?

Had the D4 in for service & MOT on Monday.
Just checking the mileage, I did just 2,100 miles in a year.

Now, if I took the greenies suggestion to “go small”, what’s going to happen to my D4?
It’s not miraculously going to disappear off the face of the planet!
No, someone else is going to buy it and highly lightly cover far greater miles than I do.
(even in doing the average of 12k pa is five times more than I’m doing)

So for me, in keeping & driving my D4 I’m helping to save the planet. Very Happy

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it greenies Mr. Green

Snap. They will be glad the hosptital has a diesel generator as backup for their operation and they didn't tamper with the critical staff's tyres as well.

A misguided belief that all SUV's are responsible - if at all compared to other vehicles (old heaps of junk you see around Stonehenge for example...). They need to have a look at homes (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/ar...laims.html), cloud services and data centres use a lot too - not just your data hoarding and streaming services either. (https://www.computerweekly.com/feature/Dat...switch-off

I expect they pick and choose what "luxury lifestyle choices" they own and make use of to suit them and conveniently ignored over the past few decades.

We are all doing our bit and these lot just irritate and don't help. Shame they never attempted to get to Johnson's or Biden's entourage, don't think they would do it again...

The people letting down SUV tyres aren't interested in climate change. They're just going after people that they believe to be rich. That one can buy a second hand "luxury SUV" for less money than a shiny new EV seems to have passed them by.

Mildly irritating, but no more and not worth getting into a frenzy tbh.

Not sure how I would react. Probably with a loud "Boo" and then ask then how they propose to reinflate my tyre.

If I'm in a foul mood probably a game of slaps where I go first and you don't have a go as you let my tyre down. Always taught to slap to save the cost of dental. Could always portray it as taking a slap to save the environment

Only applies to males. Women would be let off with a little more than a Censored off

I guess it depends on whether they're on their own or if there is a group of them. A pimply-faced youth on their own is going to be much easier to scare Censored -less. Two or three of them together will embolden them.

Either way, if you get physical with them and plod gets called then you're on a sticky wicket.

Superglue them to the flat tyre. They enjoy that.

I'm on a sticky wicket anyway due to my military training. My size / build doesnt help either. So more numbers is aways a better balance. That's why I'm not sure how I would react because it too easy to make a mistake and lose discpline. It can be a lose lose situation.

A fellow new Defender owner.

Well I was considering chopping my 90 in for a DS PHEV, as the used prices are stupidly high but that’s made my mind up. The 90 is staying!

It’s very rare that I drive in the city but I may make an exception Laughing
