Have they done anything to improve access to the spare wheel (i.e. without having to lift the rear seats up)

Forgot to look Embarassed
I didn't, it's unchanged Sad Shame coz I don't think it'd take much engineering time to improve it Confused The End

Just no room left in the engine bay. Sad

It's not as though you could fit a "reasonably sized" deep cycle in there previously. Crying or Very sad

The New D4 is becomming more urban.
19inch wheels, no 2nd battery slot. more luxury.
Its only taken 3 years for the tyre people to produce a good 18inch choice. Now 19inch is the new standard.
More and bigger is not always better.
Toyota now consider the Prado is their top offroader. The 200 series is so fat that 5 big blokes with one esky of beer exceed the GVM. The Prado can carry 200kg more.

Is this where the D4 is heading

The second battery spot os probably ok for Oz as I don't think we will get the alarm as standard and that's what is in that space. We definately won't be getting the FBH so if it is there it can be moved to the other side of the engine bay. Idea
