Thanks. But I leave it to my dealer.. .. car is now 12yrs old,
I don't intend to work on it myself.

Thanks again for all the heads up, can I just check if it is one of the sensors, would you expect to see the amber illuminated lights as shown on the dashboard?

Lucky you Smile
I couldn't afford to run mine if I needed a dealer to replace sensors

You need resistors fitting to your rear led lights to cure the quick flashing indicator in the vehicle easy job, bits cost about £5.00 minimum of 50 ohms.

Do these need soldering or crimping?

I’m thinking of getting a diagnostic scanner, I’ve looked on Amazon they are £35-£65 for a basic one, is this worth getting and if so which one?

A basic one is a waste of time. Spend the extra, and get an IID Thumbs Up

it can pay for itself in a remarkably short time ! ability to clear old error codes and see what is actually currently causing issues is essential when troubleshooting.

plus you can enable features that may not be accessible.

Cheaper code readers only deal with OBD codes

The IID will deal with every code in every module

If you don’t want to spend £400, then become friendly with your local Indy...

The iCarsoft i930 isn't bad and 2nd hand you should be able to pick one up for about £60-70. Not a patch on the IID in terms of capability or usability but great value. I have both and leave the iCarsoft in the car.
