Gutted - Help please
Hi All,
I've just purchased an 08 D3 from ebay, test drive was all good, I didn't even get home and this happened on the motorway.
All I know about the car is that it's had D4 rear LED lights the internal flasher does go faster, but outside is ok. And it's just had a refurbished handbrake module fitted, and a new battery 3 months ago.
Any help guidance is very welcomed, feeling pretty right now.

Don’t despair. I have had my D3 from new for 11 years. My wife says the only thing that hasn’t been replaced on it is me but that could have been a reality if Mike hadn’t taken it under his wing revservicing and maintenece. Get a good indi who understands these cars and you will get peace of mind and be able to sleep at nights.Once you have defeated the idiots any job is half done. Pity there are so many idiots to defeat.

Do you have any come back on this? Should have been described; odds of it just happening seem slim. Getting the codes read (unless they've been previously cleared) should show how long the fault has been there. You need someone with an IID or a garage with a FCR that can do LR codes.PAGODA

Bosch Speed sensors are only circa £20 from Eurocarparts, takes 5 mins to swap
I've done a few
Much easier to find out which one with diagnostics
Last one was on the rear offside as per the attached

Thanks again for all the heads up, can I just check if it is one of the sensors, would you expect to see the amber illuminated lights as shown on the dashboard?
