update 21.5k miles
running like a dream...........drives far better than mine..... maybe modern engines do benefit from how we drive ours.... a steady 60mph most of the time and a blat off the HS from time to time. And no faults.

Both ours are the same. PITA when you bail out the car and the door bounces back off the seat belt buckle
It's the only fault we've picked up after 46k, so I suppose we can't complain. Not when the Toyota sounds like a bag of spanners after similar mileage

had to put in a near miss for the door bouncing off the buckle yesterday...fortunately I still have the disco door.
You can just about feel a very slight knock/click through the steering wheel for the ball joints. so check yours out.

Blimey - we just take it down to the local dealers to get fixed! You guys being messed around by someone upstairs with a paperwork fetish?

alls running well....8.5k miles a month, still the best we have.
200 miles today and averaged 30.1 mpg at a mixture of cruising at 60 mph and a few incidents at 70 mph.

Ditto - The seat foam's already collapsed on the Land Cruiser at 60k, and the Shogun's just a piece of junk, even fresh out of the box.
Someone must be seeing sense because we've got just another D3 to play with too

if you have seen how many Dartford had!!! all of theirs are Discos!!!!!!!!
I heard a rumor once they learnt how to drive they would get Shoguns and Landcruisers as well.....hopefully their Discos will be distributed around the area.
