Hand brake

Hello everyone
I’ve been having problems with my handbrake so I decided to replace the hand brake actuator and discs,pads,shoes but before I plug the new actuator in do I need to put the car in service mode or can I just simple replace hope some one can help

You need to put the EPB in mount mode (I think that’s the term)
