Hand brake not working

Hi need some help just replaced all brake disc and pads but now the handbrake will not work and can't get out of park I think the rear brake shoes may need adjustment but can't get gear lever out of park cheers

Hi I have managed to get car out of park with the help of you tube by removing pieceby handbrake switch and pushing small lever inside hole handbrake still not working will adjust and hope it works.

Hi back on the road after readjustment of handbrake shoes and charging battery which had gone flat all is well . Cheers happy motoring.

Was only off road for one day not sure why battery went flat so quickly was fine before hopefully will start in the morning.

Was the key in the ignition whilst you were working on it? That will flatten it in a few hrs.

On my D3 battery was down to 7 volts in about 4 hrs. after I left the key in (switched off). Didn't do the battery much good , but fortunately it expired one day before the 3 yr. warranty and a new one supplied , no questions asked.
