I did much the same when I had my 101.
I "could" have taken the D2 I was going to trade in, but it wouldn't have been half as much fun, especially when the salesmen can see a military bumper edging closer to a RRS while I turn round.
Now there's an idea, I could ask them what they would give me for the D1 as a trade in - should be fun although I think I know what the answer is

I traded in my 300Tdi when I bought my D3 lol, they really want a sale so they will actually take damn near anything and give you a financial value on it. Next time I'm gonna take my lawnmower
