^^ True - when I smacked into the back of a van in 2014 his claim amounted to £53 - cost of a new set of steps at the back.
I still however get calls asking do I want to claim on a accident that's wasn't my fault

It would be so easy for the Government to make cold calling illegal and to end this facade of ambulance chasers et al.

Wait until the accident claim companies seek her out...........the claim will come as it is easy money. Pity you didn't take a photo of her mobile phone where it was and the part txt message.
Unfortunately I lost faith in any genuine people when it comes to claims and insurance..... ------------------------------

Remember the guy that came on here a few years back asking for advice on taking claim payment for such a scenario - no injuries or loss but wanted to use the ££'s for a holiday
He got a right going over

Unfortunately there are quite a lot of people like that.
I’m not against fair compensation where it’s due.

I had a person crash into my back of my defender 110 at a red traffic light. About 9 years ago. It was that hard it shoved me into the car in front. He smashed his radiator and engine in on impact because there was water and oil all over the road. I never claimed for injuries because I wasn't injured. I was honest about it. The folks in the car in front got out holding there necks. And there damage was a small dent in there boot off my winch. The damage on my defenders rear was a bent spare wheel frame that straightened out with a hammer once removed and a scratched rear cross member not even bent or damaged. None of this went through my insurance so unsure on if they got a injury claim.
