Hard suspension

My Disco3's (57 plate) suspension has gone hard, quite suddenly after a long (from Italy) heavily-laden journey and I can feel every manhole cover. The tyre pressures are correct, the harmonic dampers are swinging freely, the suspension raising/lowering controls work as normal, and there is no leak in the system.

Has anyone had the same problem? Does the suspension have an adaptive memory, so could it think it still has a heavier load on? -- though that was ten days and 100 miles ago.

Grateful for any ideas.

Tired bushes. Got some of mine replaced (there was no audible banging/clattering) and differnce was huge.

I was getting quite wound up with mine. Found it became very uncomfortable and unrelaxed. Took it to a top LR servicer and he took it out for a road test saying it was driving great and nothing wrong with it. But, before all this everything (on the forum) pointed to bushes and I think once I have the cash, even though I have no knocking/noise, I'll get mine done.
