I have the HSE so I assume the preimume ICE - I find it generally pretty good BUT i do notice some resonance in the speakers on some tracks with heavy bass when playing loud. Especially in what sounds like the rear passenger speaker. I have not had a real chance to determine if something else is resonating - when I get some time I'll try to diagnose before getting the stealers to take a look.Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

Somewhere on here there is a post with some recommended settings for the Logic 7 system. From memory, the bass was significantly reduced for a better aural experience.

CY go into the settings and if yours has the HK 'logic' you will find an option to turn it off. If not you dont have it In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

whats in the base model? the sound is still very good, just wondering is it a lower spec HK or something else?

Good call - i played with the bass setting and found that if I turned it down just a notch (I had it set at about 75%) then the bass in the speakers was reduced just enough to stop resonating but the subwoofer still gave enought kick. When playing loud theres still plenty of bass and the sound is very good - even fairly reasonble from MP3 discs.Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond

I've got the logic 7 system, 13 speakers... i can find 12 - 3 in each front door and 2 in each rear door and 2 in the rear pillars. where's the 13th (the sub?) i have seen mention of the lower tailgate - but nothing there as far as i can see?

You actually have 14 speakers with the HK Logic 7 system.
3 in each front door, 2 in each rear door, 2 in the rear pillars, 1 subwoofer hidden behind the panel in the lower boot lid and one speaker in the middle on top of the dash.
This gives you the 7.1 surround sound Global Warming.... I'm luvvin it
