HDC FAULT, URGENT HELP PLEASE.
Hi all, sorry about this but I’ve tried reading up on it and am even more confused.
Had the D3 in to get the front discs and pads changed and now I’ve got a HDC fault and no one including the garage have got a clue. So before I go road house on someone, has anyone got any idea what it could be?

Did they disconnect the battery whilst doing the work, battery might just need a charge

Bit more info might help - was it like this from the garage or shortly after?
Also does this only happen when the car is moving or as soon as you start it up??Must stop buying shiny toys....

Hi Bodsy, that’s what I’m thinking, I’m in the pub next door trying to calm down
How much would a sensor be? He’s said about £20, now for a D3 that’s seems a bit cheap?
And before you go mad, I am a scouser and ex infantry so not many brain cells but I have got an IID Tool but can’t read the codes or should I say don’t know how to

An original ABS sensor is around £24 + VAT. Is your IID connecting with your phone?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

No, none BT, i haven’t used it for about a year and can’t figure out how to get back to the faults.
The garage phoned me and asked me if the ABS sensor light had been on and it went from there.
Getting the sensor tomorrow lunch time and the cars already on the ramp and ready, so fingers crossed should be sorted tomorrow. I’ve told them I’m not paying for the sensor or labour but we’ll see tomorrow

If the front discs etc have been replaced I think you need to recalibrate the steering angle sensors. I had this exact same issue and it was a really simple fix. Plug the IID tool in, set the wheels dead straight and hit "recalibrate". Problem solved.
Try it before you buy any more parts

Plug the iid in, connect to your phone and press Read Faults
Then press the button bottom left corner and email it to yourself. And then grab the codes and put them on here.Bodsys Brake Bible
