Come on I was at least being optimistic, it was not pie in the sky stuff like suggesting they redesigned the parking brake or got some better suspension bushes that don't wear out in the first 2 years... Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

Almost 95% certain going to get a Discovery for two reasons, 1 it is such good value and is so bloody versatile.
Also over the years 4 Defenders, 4 Discovery including current one and a RRS so I think that tells me where my heart is. Being Scottish saving AUD$40k is also a bonus.
Thanks for all the feedback, maybe I was never meant to be posh.

I think that the heat must be getting to you old chap. Land Rover don't do development. They keep telling us that they're getting better, but they've been saying that since 1948!

Sorry not sure what came over me, I forgot they have now channelled 90% of development staff into the departments responsible for the front grill and headlights... Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...
