| Head Unit display blank, cannot be switched |
|
My wife let the sunroof Open and at night a heavy thunderstorm with lots of rain went down.
Next morning „ooops“ I have let the sunroof Open and Sat Nav does not work. 30 min later, Head Unit has no display and cannot be switched off.
Today, Suspension switch does not let the car go in access mode, nor does it move anyway when switched in offroad.
Did hard reset, checked all fuses....
Any suggestion other than giving my wife a 2CV? Achim

well you could remove the suspension switch panel and dry it out.
take it apart..

Sorry, vacation and Business Travel was preventing Any further Investigation.
I took the suspension switch panel apart and saw the traces of water. Since it did not work even when dried out I bought a replacement from a 2nd Hand parts Dealer.
Replaced it today, and suspension works as before.
Now I Need to discuss with my wife the sort of compensation.  Achim
