Headlight alignment, how to?

Hi all,
I recently fitted HID kits to my disco four halogen projectors.

I have made a mess up of setting up alignment.

Can anyone park their car at say 7 meters from a wall and then measure where the lights should be. It's booked into to dealers in three weeks buts that's along way a way!!!!
