Hi
The passenger side headlight bulb has blown - just astandard bulb nothing special.
I've looked in the book and it seems like the whole of the front of the car has to be removed inc. light guards to replace the bulb - does anyone know a short cut or easier way of changing the bulb??
Thanks

As Tawny says above.
It may look dranatic, but it is a simple job, usually no tools required, but you may need something to ease the clips up on the headlamp unit. I used an adjustable spanner to give a better grip when I had to change a bulb on Hogmanay.
Grill off, light unit out in about 2-3 mins, then took it inside and sat down at the kitchen table to swap the lamp (bulb).
Tip - change the bulbs in both units. If one goes, the other is likely to follow soon. Renny Thomson

Replaced both lamps without removing anything. You just have to do it "blind"... Life in the slow lane

Did mine the other day, as said it does look drastic but it is quite simple. Bend down and look into the grill half way up. Press up the two lugs then do the same with the lugs on top. Press them all down and lift the grill up. Pull up the slider at the back of the headlight and it simply lifts out. You may need a screwdriver or adjustable as said to pull the slider up. If the light doesnt budge push the slider down a touch to line the holes up. When you do get the unit out, pull the slider out and give it a coat of grease before reinserting it. simples

Another tip - spray the sliders with wd40 before replacing - they more more freely next time. I'm on a whisky diet. I've lost three days already.
