Brilliant many thks

Apologises for the daft question are xenons also known as HID plse

Indeed the AFS which i believe are the cornering ones I read somewhere there suppose to be a pain with the amount u have to do

Also see something about Bi xenons , Christ knows what they are Laughing

If I’ve read it right with the xenons on full beam there’s a shutter on the drop beam bulb that opens up to assist the full beam

Will have a look round for some xenons in the spring

Is also nice being able to get round to the little bits, ie front bumper, headlights etc after all the hard work

Many thks as always Bow down

Apologises for the daft question are xenons also known as HID plse - D3 Lights are Xenon They are also called HID MY 14 D4 Lights are Bi Xenon (they use the same lamp for both dipped and main)

Indeed the AFS which i believe are the cornering ones I read somewhere there suppose to be a pain with the amount u have to do - but really cool and works well - I have thse on my D3 HSE

Also see something about Bi xenons , Christ knows what they are Laughing Rolling with laughter

If I’ve read it right with the xenons on full beam there’s a shutter on the drop beam bulb that opens up to assist the full beam - yes there is a shutter on the D3 and D4 Xenon headlights and the MY 14 Bi Xenons

Will have a look round for some xenons in the spring

yeah HID and xenon tend to be used to mean the same.

the bi-xenon is the shutter to get a good main beam. All D3 HID have this

K rating determines whiteness of the light with 4000 being around middle of the range. The higher you go the "bluer" the light

Hid bulbs usually last a lot longer than halogen as the voltage to them is very controlled

Seeing halogen will normally last a few years it’s good to know HID will last longer

Out of curiosity I Had a look on ebay for the xenon headlights and see there roughly around £70-95 each
