headlight water-jets

Or how do you call these things that clean your headlights when you spray your windshield.

They used to work when my lights are ON and I spray the windshield.....they would spray my headlights also.
Since several days now I noticed there's no spray anymore infront of my D3's nose when I spray...

When do those things actually work???
Or ist it like always.....just a Landy thing Rolling Eyes

I think they only work every 3rd or 5th windscreen wash when the lights are on, not every time.

Is your washer bottle full - they may get bypassed to save water when the level is low.
Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.

I seem to remember reading somewhere the headlight washers only operate every 10th operation when the headlights are on - I may be wrong.....

If you have 1 ltr or less water in the washer bottle - they will be disabled. You will see a warning in the message centre when levels are low.

The frequency also varies depending on which TR mode you are in... ie more frequent when in Mud and Ruts. very clever.
