Mine does this when starting from a low voltage, around 11.6-7v. Sometimes my satnav helpfully explains that it is doing to shut itself down due to low voltage. After running the car for about 5-10 minutes, it normally wakes up again.

I suspect your battery isn’t being charged enough?

I am afraid I do not know much about electronics, so yes, if you haven’t changed a car battery in a while I would think about replacing it. But others more knowledge in this forum may have a different suggestion.

I'd take it to your local fast fit centre who could do a drop test on the battery to check its condition (and no before you think it they will not be dropping the battery literally Laughing )
