Heated Mirrors seem to be on all the time.

Can anyone help the display is reading 12 degs, with the engine running and nowt else switched on the heated mirrors are hot, is this normal?
 Arctic Frost Discovery 3 TDV6 SE, Active Rear Diff, Adaptive Head Lights, Tow Pack, Ebony Leather, Roof Rails, Mantec Guard. Tasmod Stainless Sill plates. Grabber AT's. Home made mud flaps. Side Steps back on until the next time.

bmw's have their mirrors warm all the time the engine is running...helps dry rain etc...maybe LR mirrors are the same
