Heated steering wheel
How warm should the heated steering wheel get? Is there anyway to measure it.
I don’t think the one I have is as warm as the Range Rover or last 2016 disco, but how do I tell?Mike

Should be low 30's Oc after around 10 mins ...like heated seats ...this can be inhibited by other priorities though ...especially if it's very cold.

It's also age related, the older YOU get the colder it seems have a talk to your doctor I'm sure there is a tablet for it
p.s. I have the same fault, remote FBH is a great help. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Does the heat coming from the heated steering wheel fluctuate as mine sometimes is really hot and then on other occasions when I switch it on it’s only luke warm. Does it work with the heated seat settings?Current:

Thanks
This is my problem - i remember 2 discos with rubbish heated steering wheels one with a good one and i think the 2013Rangie and the 2017 are better...but its how to tell.
I dont want to drop it into the dealer if possible, but do need it in ASAP if faulty
Im equally not sure if the heated jets are working as they should - they dribbled out in the cold for the first 10 minutes today, after 5 minutes then worked fineMike

My MY2011 and MY2012 ones got really lovely and warm, my MY2015 one always seemed a bit cooler but the dealer said it was fine and within the tolerances My My2016 Landmark is back to the MY2011/2's level of warmth Cheers Ian
