Hello.
Winter is coming... i have an LR4 SE Tech without the winter pack. Has anyone ever modified the steering wheel to be heated? if so, what's involved?
cheers

Heated wheel and switch pack for an MY14, clock spring on a MY14 should be ok and ready wired up, it doesn’t need enabling, 1 hour max to fit. Only downside once you’ve had one you won’t want to be without it It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Easiest swap on the car (Apart from releasing the airbag as its tricky), as above once its off its plug and play. Just make sure you get a heated clock spring or you will be doing it twice! D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!

I am keen to sort this and have a MY16. Is the clock spring ready for a heated wheel on my model too and all I need to do is purchase a wheel?

Highly unlikely. I am yet to find a non heated fitted with a heated clock spring. Buy yourself one and if you are the lucky 1% sell it again. Saves you doing it twice! D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!

I had to buy a heated clockspring from Dan when I fitted a heated wheel to my 2014 car. He told me that all clocksprings are now the heated type so you could be lucky.
