Does any body knows how it works, cause I have found nothing about it in the owner manual? 
Is the washer liquid warmed by the engine cooling system or by electrics warming jet?
Does the system works according the outside temperature or permanently?
I have this system on my actual car and it is very useful in summer to clean the windscreen with a lot of mosquitoes with heated washer jets  "Lady": Discovery 3 HSE Seven TDV6 Tonga Green.
Options : Automatic Gearbox, Premium navigation system, Personal telephone integration system, Park distance control front, Powerfold exterior mirrors, Sunroof plus Alpine roof, Lower centre console cooler box, Cold climate pack, Full size spare wheel.

hi recarmen
I had mine on this morning when I hit the defrost button, this directs the air to the screen at high(ish) speed and turns the heated front and rear screens on. I also noticed the frost around the washer jets had melted, so assume it's only the nozzles which are heated electrically.
Could be wrong but thats what it looks like. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!

Its with the Cold Weather pack.
Nozzles are heated only. Automatic and temperature dependant.
You STILL need to ensure your fluid is a good mix that will not freeze. Also worth priming the washers if you've not used them for a while.

It would be nice if one of the coolant hoses ran through the washer water bottle to keep the fluid at a decent temp. All very well having heated nozzels, but if the fluid is frozen in the pipes - I know add more alcohol - but there are better things to do with a good malt!
Mod anyone? After all, the washer bottle seems to come with holes in it anyway

I just use the ready mix halfords stuff thats good for very very cold temps.
If it gets colder than that... I will stay inside and put another log on the fire

And in summer what do you do?

I think you’re right jets are probably heated electrically, that means they are heated only when the wind screen is also heated or under a certain temperature.
If it’s so it’s a pity for no heated washing liquid in summer. 
Of course your get your rod in.

Every body can notice that Simon make very good responses to my question when he checks his car's specifications instead of staying near his chimney!!

On my actual car the washer pipe go through the engine cooling system and it’s always warm!
So it’s fine in winter because it does not freeze, but it’s also fine in summer because the warm liquid is more efficient to clean the screen. "Lady": Discovery 3 HSE Seven TDV6 Tonga Green.

They are heated independently of the heated windscreen / rear being on or not.
