Heated Windows

Can anyone help? on my D4 the windscreen only defrosts on one side I have looked closely at the screen and it has the heater wires in both sides, do you think I have a major fault or can this be fixed without a visit to my dealer, the car has loads of warranty left on it but I don't like my dealer to much and stay away as much as I can.

The screen is split in two, with a fuse for each side, check your fuses, it may just need reseating of the fuse.

If you've had a stone strick the screen it mat have broken the wire through he shock without marking the screen, although I only ever had that happen on a cheapo Autoglass replacement screen.

If the same as the D3 then I think the electrical connections are on both sides, remove the A-pillar trims and use a multimeter to measure the voltage as these points.
