Location of Connector C2243/C2245? Any ideas??

In my long on going quest to fit front parking sensors, I'm looking for the connector between the front harness and the main harness I think it's connector C2243/C2245. I have the module in the rear of the car and the cable running from that to some where in the front of the car. I'm missing the cable from the front foot well area (I believe it some where near the CJB or pasanger foot well area) to behind the head light. So looking at the wiring diagram I need to find the connector C2243/C2245. Not sure how clear the photo will come out but from what I can make out I have the module and the first section of wiring, I'm missing the second section and the third section should be the bumper wiring harness.

Anyone got any ideas where this is??

Cheers
Nick

I believe it's up behind the CJB or base of the A pillar.

Much easier to find the wiring in the footwell, and splice into it Thumbs Up

Thanks for the info. So I've got to remove the fusebox to get to the connector then run a set of wires from that to the front head light?

I'm scratching my head as I didn't think you had to remove the CJB for that connector, but I guess my memory is failing given the pictures!

I was hoping not to have to remove the CJB but if I want parking aids guess I'll have to have a dig around and have a look

Hello, did you found the place there C2243R/C2245R is located? Do you have working front pdc at the moment? Was is just matter of connecting those two plugs together?

Yes I did find the connector. Not to difficult to find. Just remove the lower panel below the glove box. Then look up behind the CJB and carefully wriggle it out enough to work on. I brought a main engine bay loom for £30 from a breakers. Removed all the plastic coating, traces the six wire I needed back from the front parking sensor plug to the C2243R connector and made up a separate loom.

Once I made the separate loom I’ve run it from the OSF headlight up to the second battery box over the engine, through the plastic channel then through the main grommet behind the battery and fuse box then repinned it into the existing loom. I haven't had time to activate the sensor or fit them yet but will be done soon the will let you know how I get on.
