prob been covered a million times but my steering is really heavy notchy on my disco 4 as its not used much reading on the net could be lower steering uj does anybody know anybody in the notts area who could change it for me or shall i try to get some wd 40 around it see if that works thanks

WD40 will free it up temporarily but replacement is the only long term solution- ask me how I know!

is it a jack up job to do it the the battery is also low that wudnt be related would it

It's hydraulic power steering so nothing to do with the battery. I've got to look at mine this morning. I'll probably take off the drivers side wheel and plan to get underneath. but ours is MY15 so has the stop/start battery which makes access to the upper bolt a pain, so I understand... -------------------------------------------------------------------

If it’s not used much I’d check tyre pressures first, Stratstone’s Nottingham or Lowdham Landrover Services will fix it for you after Christmas. It can when others can't,
