hello just got a v8

just picked up a disco 3 v8 in silver done 119000 miles drives lovely here are a few picks

needs a good service and clean but cheap as chips for a lanny
got a slide out rear boot thing too

haha 14mpg so far! but it only cost £7495 so cant moan too much do the v8s have a belt change or is it a chain on these

And that's just the belt driving the fan etc... - no timing belt to worry about on a V8 which must help with the cost of the petrol!

Interesting to see your mileage - what do you other V8 owners achieve - I get 17/18 mpg mixed driving (town / open road / offroading)

I've only gone I would say 8 miles in it so far! Didn't know you were on here Ian lol I had a quick check over and cleaned the mud off going to need the top nsr wishbone inner bush as you can move the wheel in and out about an inch! When jacked up! The other side moves too but only about 5 mm
