Help - can you identify this part?
Hello, can anybody help identify the rubber part pictured below. I found it on my drive this morning under the back end of my D3 (under the spare wheel). I’ve looked under the car briefly, and to my untrained eye all appears ok, the car also seems to be driving as normal. Although I’m now a bit worried having found a spare piece of rubber....... I’ve googled the markings on the rubber to no avail. They are:
KVF 50 90 KKSTA- > NR/BR < 1/1
There also appears to be a Land Rover Oval on the seal which has been partly cut away due to one of the holes. Unfortunately the logo didn’t come out in the photo.
As ever any help greatly appreciated, many thanks Chris57 Defender 110 XS TDCi

Thanks for the reply, I had a check and the prop shaft seemed ok. I had the old one replaced 18 months ago, so it could have come from that.57 Defender 110 XS TDCi

It could be a gasket for any of the driveshaft/propshaft couplings, not aware that they are normally protected in that manner.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8
