Help - I need 13 pin towbar electrics ?
Help..........
Having just acquired my D3 HSE I find that the problems story just continues. After suffering the embarrassment of buying a car with knackered front steering joints (yes, the worn ball joints issue now includes wishbone bushes ) I now find the ability to cary out one of it's prime duties is severely compromised.
The car has a detachable bar, locked on but no keys - no real problem, Nick (TLO) is sorting it out for me. To now add insult to injury, I find that there are no electrics , only the remnants of a previous botch job (scotch locks all over the place) .
It gets worse I'm afraid, having approach the local stealers for the relevant 13 pin kit, I get a scratching of heads and the reply is 'only got the 2 socket type sir'
Can anyone advise if the 13 pin kit is available and what the part number is ??

I got a 13-pin (genuine LR) brand new off good old Fleabay. Dead easy to fit - basically just plus in.
