Help - Navigation DVD access

Hi....I have a 2005 USA spec LR3.....I just purchased the LR Navigation update DVD....the instructions with the DVD and my owners manual both state that to access the DVD unit to raise the front (left - USA) seat to full height position and to move full forward to access loading controls.....however when I do this I find that my unit is installed backwards with the controls facing forward (engine) and not accessable.......can anyone provide info on how to remove the front plastic trim piece on the seat so I can try and gain access that way?????
