Help! Old "snake oil" problem |
|
Hi all,
I've had a "snake oil" box in the engine bay for a year now, and the the previous owner also had it in.
Anyway, I took it out/off and plugged the original plug back into the diesel fuel rail sensor. But, now the cars coming up with 'engine fault' on the dash and its running like a dog dragged through a hedgebottom after on someone's rose bed..
I have no code reader, nothing
Please help, anyone....
Paddy

Is it possible that you bent one of the pins when you changed the plugs? Never done that personally on a car but have done on a computer. Stvmor

Possible that you unplugged the 'box' when the car was still awake? Letting it go to sleep maybe was enough to sort it out
