Help Suspension fault only in cold weather C1A13

Hi,

My 2007 LR3 SE has been throwing amber suspension faults ever since the outside temperature has been below -10c. Car does not lower just stuck in the position it is in. Presently, we have been on a cold spell of -20c to -25c and I have been driving with this fault since. The fault is cleared once the the car is restarted and it will return a few seconds later or if I am lucky the fault does not return and the suspension becomes functional.

Using RSW's tool the suspension fault is a C1A13 Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery.

I replaced the air compressor last winter with a new AMK LR kit i found on Kijiji. The software was updated at LR dealer for the AMK pump. The problem started last winter but disappeared during summer only to reappear now.

I have read that it could be a blocked exhaust valve or piping. But I have not seen an official fix yet. Has anyone seen this problem get resolved?

Thanks

Barely managing with the cold.

The exhaust filter is in the rear of the LR3. Technically should be dry but will check it tomorrow as it will be -15c. Much warmer!

Additional Info:

RSW Solutions program indicated that the tank pressure is a mere 65 psi. Is this normal? Or should it normally be higher when the car is on?

I suppose moisture in the pipes wouldn't help...condensation,,,not sure how you would clear it...what does dealer reckon...must have seen it before I would have thought..could you warm the car in a garage up in a garage ...without the fume danger

I would suggest pulling the fuse and running at normal height to protect the compressor until you can sort it Thumbs Up
All genuine LR products have 12 months warranty!

It will more than likely be the exhuast valve that is sticking, I have had to do mine twice now, it always happens when it get cold. Remove the valve top and the valve, it will need to be cleaned up and re-greased, make sure you put it back with hole aligned to pipe outlet.

Buy a AMK service kit off ebay , just did mine and working perfectly again, there's a video on YouTube now on servicing the AMK & Hitachi compressors .
